Shonda Whitworth
Shonda Whitworth is a wife to Eldon, mom to two adult sons, a blogger and online columnist whose posts have appeared in a myriad of online sites, and a speaker at conferences.
She is the author of Appeal to the Courtroom of Heaven: Petitions for Prisoners and Prison Families (Iron Stream Media).
After their son landed in prison, she and her husband, Eldon, founded of Fortress of Hope Ministries that ministers to families whose lives have been impacted by incarceration.
She has been teaching Bible studies for more than 15 years, many of which has been lessons she put together for each study group. Her favorite topic to teach is on the power of prayer. Many of those studies are being transformed into courses at Kingdom Living Institute.
After walking through the judicial system with her son, she was introduced to an effective prayer strategy on how to pray into the courtroom of heaven. Relating to this concept, she began using it and found it the most effective way to silence the accuser.
